Champions for Kids Back to School Backpacks #SIMPLEGiving

champions_for_kids

It’s time time for back to school and many of you are probably hunting down all those back to school deals to get your child ready for the new school year. What you may not be aware of though is many famalies cannot afford school supplies. Thats right, more than 16 million kids in America live in poverty.

Did you know that children with quality school supplies are better equipped to succeed academically and creatively? That’s why I’m partnering with The MotherHood, Unilever, Purell, Elmers and Champions for Kids to bring awareness and encourage all of you to help.

You maybe thinking to yourself, I can barely afford to purchase my own school supplies. Great, then you know how it must feel. I am not here to tell you to reach in to your pocketbooks and give more than you can afford. This is where #SIMPLEGiving comes in to play. If you have been following my blog long enough you know we search out the best back to school deals. If you can afford just .50 cents then you can afford to donate.  Just think about it, if everyone just donated at least one item , what kind of difference we could make!

Elmers

In partnership with Champions for Kids, Elmer’s, Purell & Unilever, select Walmart stores in your area will feature bins to collect school supplies donated by shoppers from July 7- August 1. These supplies will be donated to children in your community, making an impact at a local level! Each donation bag you pick up includes a coupon book valued at more than $50 which you can keep for yourself!

Purell

So what are you waiting for? Head to your nearest Walmart today and pick up a bag to donate.
