They are at 29th and South Portland. They are in a BIG warehouse type of building. Nothing fancy but low prices and GREAT deals.

Do they carry name brand items, or a generic, and do they have a meat, dairy, and frozen departments? Just curious if they are like a regular grocery store or more like a Big Lots w/just groceries. Thanks for the info, I hadn't heard of them either! Tara

They have a little of everything. Normally it's from companies that have either refused a delivery ( ie the truck was late for what ever reason) or sometimes he gets things from auctions Like when a truck has over turned on the highway and spilled their load. Never gotten anything that was bad (ie spoiled) but we have gotten things that we didn't like. It's worth a try.

I would still watch dates on the items, I have heard of some things being out of date from there (but that was several years ago). I might have to go by there and check them out, since its been awhile :)

yeah, most of the things they have are expired. But some of the meat and frozen things would still be good. We went a few weeks ago and got a few things, but I wasn't too impressed....I was too worried about looking at all of the dates!

oh my LOL! yeah, I try to stay away from buying stuff that is expired...

We ran into that problem one time when buying food at an auction down in Purcell years ago...so I never went to another auction (that was selling food)!

Warehouse Market has pretty good deals, too, and I think they take coupons, but I don't know if they double. My husband said that years ago they weren't the cleanest... BUT we've gone there a hand full of times in the last few months, and it was NOT dirty at all. They have very good meat - they don't put the red coloring in it like WalMart does, to make it look fresher longer. The only Warehouse Market (that I know of) that's in the City is on SW 59th just west of Shields.
