Does anyone know of a natural way to repell mosquitos? My son is highly allergic to mosquito bites and unfortunately is also allergic to all of the mosquito repellents on the market. (I am pretty sure we have tried them all). So he is either has itchy mump like whelps due to the bite or an itchy rash due to the repellent. Any advise would be much appreciated as we are nearing mosquito season. Thanks!

Your supposed to be able to wipe bounce on you and/or your clothes to repel mosquitoes. I am not sure if it works.

When I was little, we used pure vanilla...not vanilla extract. Not only did it work, we smelt good too!

If you do get bit by a mosquito, put Vicks Vapor Rub on it. It takes away the itch and sting!

I have a good friend who swears by apple cider vinegar. She puts a cup or so in her kid's bath water. It's cheap - and her kids don't smell like vinegar!

I also heard about dryer sheets too. My uncles swear by it and tuck them in their shirts when they're outside. They look so funny but, they NEVER get bitten either! They also smell good and not like beer!

I know you put no extract, but is that PURE vanilla extract and not the imitation vanilla extract? I had heard it was the pure vanilla extract.
