Cream Cheese Bites

In my humble opinion if a recipe has either bacon, chocolate or cream cheese…it has to be good! This recipe calls for cream cheese! The cheesecake-like filling is easy to make and it uses pie crust…put it all together and it’s a quick yummy treat! Perfect for a party or just for a bite sized treat!


*I made this gluten free by using the Pillsbury gluten-free pie crust. It’s a newer product that in the refrigerated section near the other rolls. The tub is a little pricey in my opinion but very convenient! It’s nice to see more GF products!

Cream Cheese Bites
  • 1 8oz. package of cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 pre-made pie crust doughs
  1. In a medium bowl or mixer cream together the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  2. Lay out the pie crusts and cut into about 2 inch squares.
  3. Drop about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of a square. Lift all the corners of the pie crust up and pinch them together, covering the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Cook at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until it starts to brown.
  5. Let cool and enjoy!
