Watch for clearances at Target at the end of each season. Target eventually clearances clothes down to practically nothing. Also keep an eye on the Target printable coupons. Lots of times they’ll have coupons for clothing

Hi I just don’t get it. I have been looking at different sites for months now tracking down everysite to try and find the great coupon deals that have been on the news or advertised. But I just don’t see it; not when it’s .50 cents or 1.00 and the item is 3.00 or more especially for baby formula, diapers and other baby items. I watched you video on youtube and others, but I am just not finding the great savings on printable coupons. I have even signed up pampers, and more and have yet to see or get any deals.
Please help I really want to save money as well.

Hey Deborah right now on coupons.com there are $2.00 & $3.00 off Huggies diapers coupons. There is also a $2.50/1 Huggies diapers 48-ct. or larger on Target.com coupons that you can use at Target with the other two I mentioned. So if you combine the Target $2.50 with the $2.00 or $3.00 coupons you’ve got either got $4.50 or $5.50 off a pack of diapers at Target. Wait for a sale and you’ll save even more. What you have to do is know when and where to buy the products and what coupons are available. That’s why you need to follow a blog which will tell you where the good deals are and what coupons are available to use for them. Find a blog that lists the deals for the stores in your area, you’re more likely to get bargains that way due to the fact that prices differ from state to state and city to city.

Hello. Could you tell me where to get coupons for meats, and fruits? I have looked and don’t see any but I see people in the stores with them. I have asked and they tell me they are not rebates but actual coupons for $3.00 and $4.00 off meats, but I cannot find them.
    Thank You

Hi Debra….Did they look like store coupons or manufacturer’s coupons? I really haven’t seen coupons like that unless it was a “get $3.00 off pork when you buy Charcoal” or something similar like that (I’d like to get a hold of some though lol!!). The same with fruit & veggies. There really isn’t a specific place to find them, you just have to wait for them to come along in the coupon inserts or on a website. There are $1.00 off any produce coupons that can be found on the Target website occasionally but not often. There is a $1.00/1 any Pilgrim’s Pride Chicken product here: http://www.pilgrims.com/ and a $1.00/1 any Hormel Always Tender Pork item in our coupon inserts (smartsource insert 2-13-11 exp. 4-18). I wish I could have been more help. The next time you see one ask where they got it then let me know lol!

Jessica, If you’ll click on the coupon tab at the top of the page on the blog and then click on printable coupons you’ll find several websites. I suggest clicking on the coupon network link….it’s a newer site.

As far as coupons for meat or produce go, I’ve never seen one. I’ve seen a few episodes of “extreme couponing” on TLC. Everything these people eat comes out of a box or can. I wouldn’t want to guess at their life expectancy.
As for the “coupon network”, all I wanted to do was print a coupon or two, but they want my email and some other information. I don’t need any more junk email, all I wanted to do was print some coupons.

No April …the stores won’t accept scanned copies of the coupon inserts. Most of them will state not to be copied. Hope this helps:)

some grocery stores wont take competitor cupons, even if they are other grocers in the area, Kroger wont take a food lion, etc. why is that, isnt it worth their while to have you shop in their store, and so you buy more of THEIR stuff?

    Reply
    • Queen_Mum May 19, 2011, 12:33 PM

Glenda it depends on if the coupon from the other stores says manufacturer’s coupon on them or not. If not, then the store will not be reimbursed by the manufacturer for that coupon. Kroger may have decided that taking other stores coupons and losing that money when they do outweighs any profit they make off the product. Say Kroger has toothpaste on sale for $1.99 and you use a $1.00 off coupon from Food Lion and that brings it down to $.99 that Kroger gets from you. They won’t get the $1.00 back from the manufacturer because it’s a Food Lion coupon so that leaves Kroger $.99. From that $.99 you have to subtract what Kroger paid the manufacturer for the product. That doesn’t leave much for Kroger. On top of that Kroger has to use what’s left to help pay the rest of their bills like advertising, payroll for employees, ultilities, rent for the building etc. Kroger may not make enough from non-coupon items to warrant taking other store’s coupons.

I want to start couponing. I’m single and would love to go to the store and walk out with free stuff. should I make a list of the products that I use, then look for coupons and store prices?

    Reply
    • Queen_Mum May 19, 2011, 12:23 PM

Tommie, the best thing to do is check the weekly ad sales for the store you go to. When you see something that you use on sale and you can get it cheap or free with coupons buy it. If you can get more than one coupon for the item buy several of them (several, not 15 or 20 LOL!!) Take the 1 your going to use right now and put the rest up. Then when you run out you’re not going to the store and paying full price because you’ve got more that you got free or cheap. Do that with everything you use that’s nonperishable like deodorant, canned food, pasta, toothpaste, floss, toothbrushes etc. In about 3-4 months you’ll have a stockpile of items that you got cheap or free and you be spending about 75% less at the store!

I am wondering how do you get a stock pile going if homeland only doubles one like coupon? Do you just buy one a time?

    Reply
    • Queen_Mum May 21, 2011, 9:06 PM

Jennifer, I usually just buy one at a time if it requires a double coupon to get it free or cheap. A lot of times with a Homeland sale I can use a $1.00/2 coupon and get 2 items at a time cheap or free. For example, when Homeland has Lipton Tea on sale for $.99 and I have a $1.00/2 coupon that will double I can get 2 Free boxes at a time. I live really close to my Homeland so I can go more than one time a week without wasting gas. This week the Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce is $1.00 and there is a $1.00/1 coupon in tomorrows inserts (5-22-11). If you had 5 of those coupons you could get 5 bottles free in the same shopping trip without even doubling a coupon at all!!

I see sometimes that there is a post saying the coupons have been reset but when I go there it still reads reached print limit. How is reset?

    Reply
    • Queen_Mum May 22, 2011, 2:03 PM

Well, one of two things has happened….either after the coupon was reset people printed them out so fast that they were out again before you got to them or the company who put out the coupon was only letting people in certain areas print it out again. Whenever you see a post that a coupon has been reset be sure and look for the date the post was made. If it’s been a couple of days it may be gone already.

Jamie after you download the coupons.com printer do you then right click the program and hit run? If not then the program is not being installed to your computer. Just downloading the program doesn’t install it on your computer, you have to click run and then your computer will install.

I’m sorry but I just can’t get any where to find coupons that I use. Like major brands, hunts, jello, betty crocker, etc. Every website you all send me to goes to the same coupons and same page and it takes an act of God to get there and they all have the same items non of which I use. I tried to get to one brand and after opening 15 pages, answering too many personal questions, downloading software to print, I NEVER found the coupons I started out looking for. Whats with this.

I have found that alot of the websites themselves offer coupons. Such at Maxwell House, dog food, betty crocker. If you sign up, just make a folder in your email with a rule for those specific email (regarding coupons) to go to that folder. That way your coupons are in one spot and not crowding your inbox. Hope this helps.

Can you make copies of printable coupons or is that not allowed either?

    Reply
    • Queen Mum July 26, 2011, 10:52 AM

Nope….can’t make copies. It’s considered coupon fraud to do so. Each printable coupon has it’s on serial number and no two are alike. Printable coupons are tied to your computer’s IP address so if multiple copies of a coupon with the same serial number start showing up it can be traced back to where it was printed. Manufacturer’s only have so much money to spend on coupons that’s why they limit how many each person can have. If people made their own copies that could cost the companies way more money than they have to spend and can put smaller food companies out of business. If a company has $30,000.00 to spend on coupons (that’s 30,000 in $1.00 coupons) but 100,000 coupons are printed because people are “snipping” the coupons or they’re making their own copies then the company is about $70,000 over budget if all the coupons are used + they have to give the stores $.08 extra per coupon (that’s an additional $5600.00). Sorry for such a long explanation but I like to let people know why the manufacturer’s consider it fraud :)

    can i legally use a 5.00 coupon on a
.97 pack of razors? it is a shick razor coupon
& walmart has a .97 pack of wilkinson razors
    made by the shick company

    Reply
    • Queen Mum September 24, 2011, 4:10 PM

Gloria, the coupon would have to be used on a product labled Schick. Although the Wilkinson razors are made by Schick they are not labled as a Schick razor, say like the Schick Quattro or Schick Hydro. I don’t think the manufacturer intended the coupon to be used on the Wilkinson. Now if the razors were labeled Schick and were $.97 you could use the coupon at Walmart as long as the coupon had no size or variety restrictions on it. Hope this helps :)

My name is Darlene, here in Illinois we have never had the greatest coupons but I always used them when my kids were growing up. Now after 35 years of marriage I am getting divorced and looking for ways to save money. Does anyone know of other states where I can buy the Sunday paper from that have better food coupons with the higher savings? I live close to Chicago so am going to check there.

    Reply
    • Queen Mum October 24, 2011, 4:02 PM

I’m not familiar with your area but I do know that when you have papers from other states delivered to you they don’t include any coupons because the manufacturer’s only want the coupons to be used in the area they put them in. Since you live close to Chicago I would check there. Just make sure to ask if the paper will include the coupons :)

Tia… that TV show is fake! No one can walk into a store and do what they did…the store won’t let you. The stores wanted to be on TV so they let the couponers do whatever they wanted…..things they won’t let anyone else do. Also, no store carries that much inventory so you can’t walk out with 100 jars of mustard because they don’t have nearly that much much on the shelf. Don’t compare couponing with anything you see on that show…it teaches people to be greedy and dishonest. If you’ll click on the coupon tab at the top of the website it will bring down a drop down box. Click on how to coupon…the first 3 lessons are for beginners:)

New to couponing…the financial restraints have finally hit my house, I guess after finding leaks under the house and having to redo parts of my house, the money is stuck into that and not really on the fuel for the body. Any help to find the right spots to look to make my grocery bill even in half would be awesome. Also, looking for vegitarian stuff in coupons like “Boca Burgers” or “Morning Star”…as I have a child who doesn’t eat meat. Thank you :)
