puzzle DIY from cards

My kids get a lot of cards in the mail from grandparents that live far away. I hate just throwing them away, but at the same time I can’t keep everything! Here’s a fun DIY craft that you can do with those cards or any other pictures!

First find a picture that you want to use. It can’t wider than the crafts sticks. Line up the craft sticks so that they are as tall as the picture.

Put glue on the back of the picture and press it against the craft sticks. Let dry

Once it is dry cover the picture and top of craft sticks with modge podge. This will add some durability to the puzzle! Let dry.

Once is is completely dry, flip it over so that you see the other side of the craft sticks and the picture is facing down. Take an sharp knife, like an x-acto knife, and cut between each stick.

Each stick will be it’s own puzzle piece. Put all the pieces in a baggie for storage. Perfect for keeping little kids busy at church, doctors offices…etc!
