Keep the kids busy with an DIY indoor car track!

More Frugal Tips /The Royal Family/From Our Readers /Guest Post

I remember summer time as a kid. It was awesome. As a parent it’s not quite the same! Yes, I love my kids and I’m so happy that I get to spend time with them but trying to keep them busy is a big task! Today it is too hot for them to play outside unless it involves water. And I’m not feeling 100%. So what to do? I could turn on the TV. Or I could grab a roll of masking tape and make a car track throughout the whole house!  It took me about 15 minutes to make roads that weaved all over our house. Under the tables, up the walls, round and round in circles! The best part is, my kids are playing together!  The cost of a roll of tape is about $1…well worth it!

So what do you do to keep your kids busy while they are stuck in the house?! Please share!

Might try blue painters tape, a touch more, but doesn’t leave any residue when pulled up.

I’ve tested this before. I used it to make hop scotch! I haven’t had any problems at all, but thanks for the tip! ~Princess Lacey
