All week I’ve been looking forward to Friday night. Friday night is date night! My mouth had been watering all week for nice big delicious salad. You know, the kind with all the extra fancy toppings. I’m trying to eat healthier and salads are helping me achieve that goal.
So Friday night came, but date night did not. My husband had to work late. I was so disappointed. I have 2 little girls at home and sometimes I just need a little grown-up time! Plus I hadn’t planned on making dinner and I didn’t really feel like it. That’s when I remembered that I had bought the new Lean Cuisine Salad Additions that other day when I was shopping at Walmart. I tried the Asian-style chicken and my husband had the Southwest-style chicken. I loved that the chicken and vegetables were hot and fresh.I felt like I was actually at a restaurant. My daughter even pretended to be our waiter and carried over our dishes.
I thought date night was ruined, but thanks to Lean Cuisine Salad Additions, we had a great date night in our own dining room!
