Academic Planners 2013-2014

Academic planners are a much needed item when attending college (and even in high school).  Do NOT depend on technology.   Get a planner and see the improvement!  As many of you know I (Princess Karen) am a college student who has a high GPA and will be graduating soon with a Bachelor’s Degree.  In addition to being a college student I also work full time and I am a single mom.  My planners get a HUGE workout.  I do have an iPhone; however, I still find my pen and paper planners invaluable since I can color coordinate them, carry them with me and put more details in them than in my phone.

Here are a few that I would consider good academic planners for the upcoming school year.  (My criteria were room to write in assignments for more than one class, ability to flip to a monthly view yet still have a weekly view, binding or spiral seems study and not too expensive).

I’m just a stay at home Mom with two in school and I still get a new planner when we get the boys’. Mine keeps not only the master schedule for the family, but is also used for menu planning, bill payment reminders, grocery shopping notes for making my shopping list, birthdays and card reminders- generally anything to do with managing our home and family. I really like to use the ones set to start with the new school year because our lives still really do revolve around the kids’ schedules. I will definitely be checking these out!
