CVS Shopping Scenario 12/30

Understanding Extra Care Bucks (ECB) * Shopping CVS
Current CVS Deals

If you’re new to CVS and don’t have any ECB from a previous shopping trip to use on the first transaction then the amount you pay will be your “seed money”. “Seed money” is the money you pay out of pocket to get your first Extra Care Bucks (ECB) to use on future purchases.

With this scenario we will be getting $43.75  in product for $10.77 (+ any applicable sales tax) with $7.00 in ECB to use next week. That’s a savings of about 75%!

Last week we ended up with $6.00 in ECB which I will incorporate into this week’s scenario.

We Beauty Club members will have $28.00 in purchases towards our FREE $5.00 ECB!

Remember, you don’t have to do all the transactions in one day or even at the same store.

Transaction #1:

Buy 4 Pantene Shampoo $3.50 ea.
Buy 4 Pantene Conditioner $3.50 ea.
Buy 2 Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Soap .99 ea.
Subtotal: $29.98
Use (4) $3.00/2 Pantene P&G 12-30 (exp. 1-31)
Use (2) .50/1 Dawn Hand Renewal P&G 12-30 (exp. 1-31)
Use $6.00 ECB from last week
Final price: pay $10.00 + get $10 ECB (P&G purchase)

Transaction #2:

Buy GE Energy Smart 40, 60, 75 or 100 Watt Equivalent 1-pk $2.99
Buy 2 Crest Pro-Health Rinse 16-oz. ( 480 mL) $5.39 (online price)
Subtotal: $13.77
Use (2) $1.50/1 Crest Rinse 458 mL+ P&G 1-31 (exp. 12-30)
Use $10.00 ECB from transaction #1
Final price: pay .77 + get $5 ECB (Crest) + $2 ECB (GE) to use next week!

This week’s scenario is like getting $43.75 worth of product for only $3.77 (+tax) after ECB
