CVS Shopping Scenario 1/27

Understanding Extra Care Bucks (ECB) * Shopping CVS
Current CVS Deals

If you’re new to CVS and don’t have any ECB from a previous shopping trip to use on the first transaction then the amount you pay will be your “seed money”. “Seed money” is the money you pay out of pocket to get your first Extra Care Bucks (ECB) to use on future purchases.

With this scenario we will be getting $40.90 in product for $12.40 + any applicable sales tax with $3.00 in ECB to use next week.

Last week we ended up with $5.00 in ECB which I will incorporate into this week’s scenario.

We Beauty Club members will have $19.00 in purchases towards our FREE $5.00 ECB!

Remember, you don’t have to do all the transactions in one day or even at the same store.

Transaction #1:

Buy 6 Suave Body Wash $2.00 ea.
Buy 2 Children’s Advil $4.99 ea.
Subtotal: $21.98
Use (2) $1.50/1 any Children’s Advil – facebook
Use (2) B2G1 Free Suave Body Wash (up to $3) RP (#2) 1-27 (exp. 2-24)
Use $5.00 ECB from last week
Final price: pay $9.98 + get $4.00 ECB (Suave) + $4.00 ECB (Advil)

NOTE: The Suave may deduct the full amount of $3.00. If so, your out of pocket will be $2 less. Also if you have the previously available BOGO free Children’s Advil coupon, use it instead of the (2) $1.50/1 coupons and you’ll save even more :)

Transaction #2:

Buy 2 Colgate Total Advanced 5.8-oz. OR Optic White 4-oz. OR  Total Whitening/Sensitive 6-oz. Toothpaste $2.99
Buy 2 Tresemme Hair Care 32-oz.  or 8-11 oz. Styler 2/$7.00
Buy Tide Liquid 19-32 Loads $5.94
Subtotal: $18.92
Use (2) .50/1 Colgate Advanced, Optic White, MaxFresh or Sensitive 4.0-oz+ SS 1-20 (exp. 2-9)
Use BOGO Free Tresemme (up to $6.00) RP (#1) 1-27 – is taking off full $6 when scanned!!
Use $1.50/1 Tide Detergent P&G 12-30 (exp. 1-31)
Use $8.00 from transaction #1
Final price: pay$2.42 + get $2.00 ECB (Colgate) + $1.00 ECB (Tide) to use next week

Today’s scenario is like getting $40.90 in product for $9.40 after ECB!  If the Suave coupons deduct the full amount when scanned also you’ll pay only $7.40!
