CVS Shopping Scenario 6/29

Understanding ExtraBucks * Shopping CVS * Current CVS Deals

If you’re new to CVS and don’t have any ECB from a previous shopping trip to use on the first transaction then the amount you pay will be your “seed money”. “Seed money” is the money you pay out of pocket to get your first Extra Care Bucks (ECB) to use on future purchases.

With this CVS shopping scenario we will be getting $16.92 in product for as low as $3.98+ any applicable sales tax with $1.00 in ECB to use next week. That’s a savings of about 76%! (not counting the $1.00 EB left over)

Last week we ended up with $3.00 in ECB which I will incorporate into this week’s scenario.

Remember, you don’t have to do all the transactions in one day or even at the same store.

Transaction #1:

Buy –
CVS Batteries 10-ct. AA/AAA, 4-ct. C or D, 2-ct. 9-Volt $5.99
Final price: pay $5.99 + get $4 EB

If you have the $3.00 EB left over from last week’s scenario you’ll pay $2.99 for transaction #!

Transaction#2:

Crest Total Rinse 1-liter or Optic White Rinse 32-oz. $5.99
Use $1.00/1 any Colgate Rinse 8-oz.+ SS 6-29
Use $4.00 EB from transaction #1
Final price: pay .99 + get $3 EB

Transaction #3:

Buy Tide Detergent 19-32 Loads $4.94
Use $2.00/1 any Tide P&G 6-1 (exp. 6-30)
Use $3.00 EB from transaction #2
Final price: pay ZERO + get $1.00 EB
