From Our Readers…Kitt’s Story Of How Couponing Changed Her Life!

Share This Post :

We don’t normally post things like this but when I read Kitt’s email I knew I wanted to share it with all of you.

I’m not posting this to toot my own horn so to speak, but to share her story for anyone out there struggling to make ends meet.  It shows that couponing does work and you CAN get the things you’re family needs and wants…there is light at the end of the tunnel.

She is  exactly why we do the things we do here on Consumer Queen.  I know sometimes, I discouraged and I think I’m not making much of a difference and to be honest, sometimes posting becomes a chore.  Then someone like Kitt comes along and I know what we do here does make a difference and it makes me want to post till my fingers hurt lol!!  Her story is truly inspiring…..

Dear Patsy:
I’d like to take the time to thank you for changing my life.  Thanks to you I have so much now in my life.  Ive been couponing since June.  And now I am able to buy things that Ive never had in my home before.  Things like glade sprays and lysol wipes, silly things that Ive never had the money in the past to purchase.  I’ve got them now!
I don’t get annoyed anymore when someone takes something out of my fridge and eats half of it.  That used to drive me crazy.  I never used to buy expensive toilet paper or expensive makeup either but now  days I can get all sorts of nice things.
Today I was in CVS, and I laughed when I thought about how much you have improved the quality of my life. I bought some Revlon. I don’t think Ive ever bought that stuff in my life.  Its just to expensive.  I got a store coupon that said $4 off 12 worth of make up and the Revlon was BOGO 50% off the second item.  I wanted concealer and foundation.  I had two of the $5 off coupons from Sept 9 for Revlon.  I went to the counter with some foundation that was about $14 and concealer was Approx $10.  Rang up to be about $19 then they let me use both the $5 off brought it down to $9. I used the $4 off bought it down to $5 I had bought that heat back pack earlier in the week, and had the 3.79 register rewards.  My total ended up being about 1.50  WOW I couldn’t believe it.
Thanks for all the work you do and helping me to make my life better, fun, prettier, and happier!  I love it!
See u soon
