We all know the manufacturer’s golden rule of couponing: You can’t use more than one manufacturer’s cpn on a single item.
Second rule: Even if a cpn doesn’t beep at the register doesn’t mean it’s been used in the right way.
I know this post is going to bring up the question “can I use the $3.00/2 Olay cpn with the cpns above?”
This may help explain why it’s not ethical to do it:
The part of CVS coupon policy that states “up to 2 cpns may be used on a BOGO free promo” does not mean you can use more than one manufacturer’s cpn on 1 item. Promo refers to a sale or special event and not a cpn. I’ve called CVS to confirm this.
When you use a BOGO free cpn it attaches to both items, even the one you are paying for so you can’t use the $3.00/2 Olay cpn in addition to the ones above.
Even if it were possible the $3.00/2 cpn would prevent you from using any other cpn with it anyways. You have to buy 2 items in order to use the cpn or it would be a $3.00/1 and not a $3.00/2. $3.00/2 means part of the coupon applies to one item and part of it applies to the other, hence attaching to both items. So therefore, you couldn’t use the Olay BOGO free.
Even if the cpn doesn’t beep, CVS will not be reimbursed for both cpns as manufacturer’s call using an addtional cpn with a BOGO free “double dipping”
