what is meant by rain check?

    • Queen Mum April 9, 2014, 1:35 PM

Whenever a store runs out of a product before the sale is over they issue a piece of paper to the shopper that has the name of the product and how much it was on sale for. That’s called a rain check. Whenever the store gets the product back in, the shopper takes the rain check back to the store and gets the item at the price it was offered at when on sale. Hope this helps:)
