If you have been in the market for a new home audio system or are thinking about Google Chromecast, this post is for you!  I am so excited to share with you all, my readers, why I love this product and what all it features.  Google Chromecast is a great way to play music on your speakers and from wireless devices like phone, laptop or tablet.  Unlike many sound and music products on the market, Google Chromecast uses WiFi instead of blue-tooth technology.  This enhances the sound and allows for better sound quality.  We all know that although blue-tooth  devices are great, you do have to be nearby your phone, tablet or sound source for the best quality sound.  With Google Chromecast, there’s no need to worry.

One of the best features of Google Chromecast is the Multi-room ability.  You can sync multiple speakers in different rooms and listen to the same song all over the house.  I love this feature for times that I am working from home, take a break and head to another part of the house, etc., but don’t want to leave my music behind!  When we are out in the garage working on a project or doing some spring cleaning, it’s nice to have music on.  No need to stop listening if we head into the house for a while!  We just program the Google Chromecast to play in another area of the house.  This also helps me not having to carry my phone or blue-tooth speaker with me if I want to keep my music playing in different rooms.

With Google Chromecast we also like that we can change settings from where-ever we are in the home.  You can play, pause music or change volume settings from the phone.  For example, my husband can be in the living room and lower or pause the volume on the music if he needs to talk on the phone, all without getting up from his chair.  I can be in the opposite end of the house and pause music if I need to talk to someone or something needs my full attention.  There is no interruption in music if you need to text or call, which is great since I do run my own businesses and am sending and receiving texts and messages quite frequently! 😉

Another thing we love about Google Chromecast is that we can enjoy all of our favorite audio apps. Sometimes depending upon your mood you may want to switch up the music, and of course many apps have different selections.  You can stream Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, and of course Google Play Music.  You can check out more selections over here.  I usually listen to my favorite stations on Pandora, but I often do switch over to YouTube Music for something different.  Google Chromecast has an awesome selection!
