We all know Always makes great quality products for us ladies. Did you also know Always is now partnering with Walmart on a mission to provide resources to teen girls’ sports teams, boosting confidence in young women? This is such an awesome initiative that I wanted to share about it to you, my fans. #LikeAGirl
The #LikeAGirl – Keep Playing initiative goes across “50 Teams, 50 States”, supporting one girls’ sports team in each state this year. I can’t help but getting a little teary eyed at this inspirational video we have (see below) about the team chosen right HERE in Oklahoma!
It’s pretty cool, and you can just tell how much more confident these girls are wearing their team colors and practicing in an updated facility. Be sure to click the link and watch! It’s so positive and uplifting, I have to say I’m pumped for the Hulbert, Oklahoma Lady Riders basketball team. 🙂
The thought behind the #LikeAGirl initiative is that a teen girl’s self confidence can already be at an all time low, and negativity about limitations and negative body image can contribute. Teenagers can increase self confidence through sports, as recent studies have shown.
This is a great initiative and I’m excited to share it since the team here at Consumer Queen frequently posts deals and savings on Always products. Always® offers a wide range of feminine pads, wipes and liners designed to fit different body types, period flows and preferences. Their line of feminine products includes:
- Always Infinity™
- Always Ultra Thins
- Always Maxis
- Always Liners
- Always Feminine Wipes
Click here for more info on any of these great products.
I am looking forward to hearing more about what’s on the horizon for teen girls and how Always is promoting self confidence. Always® is partnering with the UN and also the International Olympic Committee to support these programs in places like Rio de Janeiro. This summer 2,500 local girls were able to get access to sports programs and school materials to build confidence.
