Sugar is said to be one of the most addicting substances, so I can see why so many people are trying to eliminate it from their diets as a general part of getting in control of your body and your health. I like that these are not fad diets, but whole food diets. Some diets also eliminate dairy, grain, etc, while some allow natural sugars. This can be really helpful if you’ve got a trouble issue you’re trying to find the cause for. Whether you’re just looking for a few healthy meals or you’re jumping on the bandwagon here are 10 Recipes for Sugar Detox Diets!
One of my all time favorite weekend treats is French Toast! You can stuff them, bake them, fry them, and always sprinkle on the toppings to your heart’s desire! The frequent thank yous are music to your ears as everyone appreciates the extra effort you go to and the escape from their every day cold cereal! After all, it’s bread soaked in egg batter and cooked to perfection… The nearly unlimited options guarantee there’s a French Toast that is sure to be your favorite too!

This Freezer Shrimp Stir Fry is so easy! You literally throw everything in a baggie mix it up and Freeze until you need it! Massage well, to mix all your ingredients together, and freeze until ready to use. You’ll want to use a Freezer storage bag for safe freezing. Write on your bag to saute in a preheated skillet for 5-8 minutes or until heated through. We like to serve over rice.
We’re almost halfway through the year, and I’ve been thinking about how I’m doing on a couple of my New Year’s resolutions. Eating healthier and spending more time with my family were near the top of my list. Now, I’m in no way saying this Easy Ravioli is a “healthy” dish, but it is easy! And that means that it gets me out of the kitchen and into the family room. My solution- I pair it with a green salad and veggies! It’s got a nice flavor with it’s cajun seasoning. Feel free to add a little extra, and kick it up a notch if you like it spicy! Plus, anything I make in my kitchen is bound to have less preservatives and added sugar than eating out so I’m counting that as not only a money saver but a healthier option too.
