You may have landed here looking information on Food Banks in Oklahoma City, so we put together a list you can go through quickly and easily. However, we also want to list all food assistance programs so that anyone who needs to can access those as well.

SNAP FOOD PROGRAM:

SNAP provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.

To get SNAP benefits, you must apply in the state in which you currently live and you must meet certain requirements, including resource and income limits, which are described on this page. SNAP income and resource limits are updated annually. Click Here to see if you qualify for Oklahoma SNAP benefits.

If you haven't been registered for SNAP before, just be aware that the process usually does take some time; for immediate assistance keep scrolling for a list of food banks!

WIC Program- Women, Infants and Children:

The Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program (WIC) provides nutritious foods to supplement the diets of women, infants, and children. WIC foods are specifically chosen to provide the nutrients you and your children need (WIC Approved Foods). CLICK HERE to see if you qualify for Oklahoma WIC.

Other details: If you're not familiar with WIC, it does provide a lot of food and parents with small children (usually up to 5 but may vary), and those that are pregnant can register for this program. The WIC program provides things like milk, breakfast cereals, cheese, and even formula, and they provide wellness visits for your child. Depending on the area of the country you live, I've also heard some provide nutrition or cooking classes to at-risk populations. They have a lot to offer.
