CVS Blogger Event – My Trip to CVS Headquarters
This month I was invited to CVS headquarters with several other bloggers for a CVS blogger event. I look forward to trip every time I am invited because CVS does such a wonderful job. Not only do they tell us about new and exciting programs that are coming but they also make it fun and interactive. Such as the game you see below that I like to call “Myth Busters”! (I'm in the bright blue shirt, you can't miss me!)
Not only does CVS give us the exclusive information about upcoming programs but they also do focus groups with us that allow us personal time with CVS experts to ask questions from our readers or even give feedback about a certain program or ideas that we would like to see in the future. It's just about pushing their own ideas but they genually want to know what we think.
CVS also knows that we attend events that we are taking time away from our families and that many of haven't seen each other in person in a while so they always offer some down time for us to mingle and spend time together.
They almost always have something special planned as well. This time everyone was treated to a spa time which was an absolute fun way to introduce us to the new products from the Salma Hayek line. Amy (MomSpark) and I chose a massage and it was FABULOUS!!!!!
One of my favorite days was the Christmas Brunch. The food was awesome, the whole room was decked out in Christmas decor and Christmas music was playing. I was totally ready to go home and put up my Christmas Tree. CVS wanted to introduce us to all the new items coming to CVS this Holiday so they had us all participate in a Yankee Swap ( also know as Dirty Santa). It was a blast and it funny to see what items kept getting stolen like the Mickey Mouse waffle iron.
One of my favorite takeaways from this trip was that you will soon be able to use your phone # at the magical coupon machine to access your coupons! Did you know that 70 million + have used their CVS card in the last 6 months? Also on the new CVS myWeekly AD they will soon have instore pricing listed so that when they have BOGO offers you will know exactly what you are going to pay before you go to the store. The myWeekly ad will also show you what asile your product is located in so that you can plan your attack.
Disclosure: I was not paid for this post but I was given an iPad mini and paid travel for attending the event.
