Big Change in Ibotta | What You Need to Know
ibotta has added a new policy change to most of their rebates. It's a change we here at Consumer Queen have been dreading.
Big Change in ibotta!
Before you add an ibotta rebate to your account or put together a deal using ibotta be sure and read the fine print on EACH offer. Most of the cash back offers now invalid if you use them with a coupon and/or promo code. No more stacking coupons or online codes with ibotta rebates!
We knew this was coming as the rebate offers are technically really coupons which the manufacturer's reimburse ibotta for when they are redeemed. As we all know, manufacturer's don't allow more than one coupon to be redeemed on a single item. Most likely the manufacturers have forced the issue with ibotta and has required them to change their policy. We expect ibotta to have something in place like Checkout51 does to reject any rebate that is used with a coupon.
ibotta is still a great tool for saving money, especially those that don't have coupons available. It'll still be good for stacking with sales and of course for all the free items. So what do you think?
