Summer will be here before you know it and the kiddos will need some inexpensive fun things to do. Checkout this list of movie deals that won't break the bank! Here's what we know so far. A few movie chains haven't released this year's program but should do so by the end of May. We'll keep you updated. Don't forget Kids Bowl Free this Summer too!
AMC Theaters
Summer Movie Camp! Enjoy family friendly movies for $3+tax every Monday and Wednesday at participating theatres. Starts June 6-24 thru 8-14. Click here for more info.
Cinemark Theaters
Beginning June 19th, participating Cinemark theaters will start their Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse promotion. Every Wednesday enjoy a fun kids movie for $1.75 per ticket. You'll save even more with $1 off kid's snack packs, large popcorn and large drinks during each movie. Starts June 10th thru August 15th. Cineplex
Head to Cineplex theaters on Saturday mornings at 11am for Cineplex Family Favorites and watch family films each week for only $3.99! Head over here for details.

Harkins Theaters
Kids can enjoy a movie a week for 8 weeks (starting June 3rd), for just $1 per film with the season pass or $2 at the box office. Megaplex Theatres
Megaplex Theatres are showing one kids’ movie a week for 10 weeks and offering up passes to see all 10 of the movies for $25. Kids Summer Movies Passes are digital and will be linked directly to your active MyMegaRewards account.. Head on over to their website to see the summer movie schedule based on your location.
Phoenix Theatres
Free movies! Starting June 4th, 10 AM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning this summer, Phoenix Theatres will be showing family-friendly movies for FREE! All age groups are welcome and doors open at 9AM. They’ll even have a special Kiddie Meal available! Click here for a location near you.
Regal Cinemas
Summer Movie Express! Starting June 11th,every Tuesday & Wednesday at 10:00am throughout the summer you can enjoy movies for $1.00 thru August 7th! To see a list of movies, locations and other details click here. As a side note: a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Will Rogers Institute. All Summer Movie Express guests can purchase a specially priced $5 Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn, and fruit snacks with an optional $3 Dippin’ Dots add-on.

It's Bookworm Wednsdays at Showcase Cinemas! Kids get free admission to a select children’s film when they present a book report at a participating Showcase Cinemas box office. Accompanying parents or guardians and children under six years of age get in free – no book report needed 😉

Saving Money on Refreshments:
Some movie theaters do not allow outside food BUT surprisingly many do. If yours does you can save save tons of money by bringing your own.
* Stop by Target, Walmart or Dollar Tree and pick up theater box candy or other cheap snacks.

* Save on popcorn – buy the large refillable popcorn bucket and bring extra bags from home. Some theaters will actually let you have some of their small bags for sharing. Check and see if your chain sells a large container that can be filled up for a discount every time you visit.

* Soda – buy the large size and split it between the kiddos. Even if your theater doesn't allow outside drinks they'll let you bring in empty cups 😉 As with the popcorn, you may be able to buy a large cup that can be refilled at a discount every time you visit.
