If you are a history buff, homeschooler, or are looking for great family activities for free, check this out! Tickets to the Smithsonian Magazine’s 12th annual Museum Day Live! are now available for download!
On Saturday, September 24, 20116 museums across the nation will adopt the policy of the Smithsonian, opening their doors for free to visitors with a Museum Day Live ticket. Each ticket grants free admission to the ticket holder plus a guest. Click here for a full list of museums and download a ticket. You can search by zip code or location.
In central Oklahoma, participating museums include:
- The Sam Noble Museum of Natural History
- The Fred Jones Museum of Art
- Oklahoma History Center
- Oklahoma Hall of Fame at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum
