There's 3 workshops coming up you might want to attend with the kiddos. JCPenney Kid's Zone, Home Depot, and Lowe's are offering FREE events that are sure to bring out the creativity in both you and your kids!
JCPenney – January 11th:
Have the kiddos at your local JCPenney Kid's Zone between 11:30 and noon where they'll be able to make their own Penguin or Yeti Bookmark! Everything is provided and parents will receive a 10% off purchase coupon valid that day only.
Kids get a free craft, ID badge and lanyard Collector's pin each month plus a Master Medallion after completing 6 crafts. We recommend getting there early as there may be a line.
Lowes – January 18th:
Registration is open for Lowe's FREE Construction hat workshop. The event will take place January 18th from 10am – 1pm, in-store only. During this fun and educational event, kids get to combine crafts and DIY by building their very own wooden Toy Snowplow using real tools and complete with materials and instructions. Head over here and get the kiddos signed up now.
After they complete 12 workshops and earn 12 badges they'll become a Senior Builder and earn a FREE tool bag!
Home Depot – February 1st:
During this workshop the kiddos will build a Valentines Candy Box! You'll need to click here to sign them up. Scroll down until you see the sign up button for Kids Workshops.
The event takes place the first Saturday of each month from 9am to noon at your local participating store while supplies last.
During the monthly in-store workshop, kids are given a craft kit plus the space and tools to work on it. Home Depot also provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions so that they can complete their project successfully.
