Homemade Foaming Handsoap

Make your own Homemade Foaming Hand Soap: We all love those cute little foaming soaps but we all hate their cute little price. I love foaming hand soap because my kids don't seem to use as much soap and they don't seem to make a big mess when washing their hands! Once you buy the product once do not throw away the container. We are going to teach you how to reuse that container so you can make your own.

Look for your favorite dishwashing soap or liquid hand soap. If you're smart you can usually get a bottle for just .99 sometimes cheaper with coupons. If you are a natural organic girl, I recommend getting Dr. Bronner's Fair Trade & Organic Castile Liquid Soap. I can actually make 32 bottles out of a quart size bottle.

How to Make It:

Take 5-6 parts  water and 1 part liquid dish or hand soap (or about 2 tablespoons) and add to your empty container. If you want something that smells good try adding a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil like lemon, lavender, grapefruit or lemongrass. also if you are going all natural you can even used distilled water.

Whala, you will have your own foaming hand soap. Just think of how many bottles of foaming soap you can get out of that one .99 bottle of soap?

Hello, i am confused on the directions. I am sorry, but what is parts? Lol…. Thank you!

  2. try diluting a bit of cheap shampoo you have lying around with a bit of dish soap, and you’d never have to buy hand soap again. smells great too! 🙂
