Expired Coupons? Send Them To The Military Overseas!

It's the end of the month and many coupons will be expiring. Instead of throwing them away, send your expired coupons to the military overseas!

The overseas commissaries (grocery store) and PX/BX (retail store) allow coupons to be used up to six months passed the expiration date so this is a great way to help our servicemen and women save.

When sorting your coupons, divide them up into food and non-food items. If you can, it would be even better to divide them up into categories such as dairy, frozen, pets etc. You can put them in baggies or small envelopes and then mail them together in a larger box.

When sorting your coupons:

  • Clip coupons and divide them into food and non-food.
  • Restaurant or store coupons can't be used so don't include those.
  • Don't send coupons that are over 30 days expired as they may not reach their destination in time for use.
