Old El Paso Taco Totality Deal Brings Ibotta Savings, Fetch Rewards, and a Fun Giveaway
The Old El Paso Taco Totality deal is a fun one for taco fans this year. For the first time since 2020, Cinco de Mayo lands on Taco Tuesday on May 5, 2026. Old El Paso is calling it Taco Totality, and honestly, the brand went fully committed on the bit. Along with limited-time savings, there’s a chance to win a Taco Totality Gear Box packed with taco-themed extras.
Save on Old El Paso Through Ibotta and Fetch
This part is the actual deal, not just the goofy taco universe marketing.
From April 21 through May 5, Ibotta shoppers can unlock Save for Cinco offers on qualifying Old El Paso products. That includes select shells, beans, sauces, and rice, totaling up to $5.
Fetch users can also earn bonus points on qualifying Old El Paso purchases from April 17 through May 5. If taco night is already happening at your house, this is an easy way to get a little something back for groceries you were probably buying anyway.
Enter to Win the Taco Totality Gear Box
Old El Paso is also giving fans a chance to win a limited Taco Totality Gear Box. The giveaway window runs from April 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET through April 26, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. It is open to legal U.S. residents in all 50 states and D.C. who are age 18 or older. No purchase is required.
The box includes a few ridiculous but very on-brand extras:
What’s Inside the Taco Totality Gear Box
Old El Paso TABASCO Taco Shells
These taco shells bring a tangy, peppery kick to taco night. Old El Paso says the TABASCO-flavored shells are now available nationwide, just in time for this promo.
Taco Shield Glasses
These are meant to protect your eyes while chopping onions, jalapeños, and other taco toppings. Silly? Yes. Also kind of practical if onions destroy your face every single time.
Totality Neck Pillow
This one is designed for peak taco tilt, which is exactly the kind of nonsense a taco-themed giveaway should include.
Taco Totality T-shirt
Because taco night and salsa spills have been in a committed relationship for years.
Why This Deal Is Worth a Look
The Old El Paso Taco Totality deal works because it gives you a few ways to save without making things complicated. You can grab rebates through Ibotta, stack on Fetch points, and enter for a fun giveaway if you want to lean all the way into Taco Tuesday. It is a pretty smart excuse to stock up before Cinco de Mayo, especially if you already keep taco shells, rice, refried beans, and sauces in the pantry.
If you want to check out the promotion or enter for the giveaway, you can visit the Taco Totality site here. The promo was announced by General Mills on April 22, 2026, and the brand says this Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday overlap will not happen again until 2037. So yes, they are milking the calendar event for all it is worth. Respectfully, fair enough.
