Need an Ice Cream Maker? Head over to your nearest Walmart for a great clearance price! I found the 4-qt Nostalgia Ice Cream Maker for just $20 (Reg. $34.94). I did see them marked down to $20.00 breifly online, but it appears the price has jumped back up to $29.99.

We also spotted ice cream mixes for just $2 (Reg. $2.98) and a few nice deal on snow cone supplies.
I was extremely happy to find this since we almost bought the same thing at full price back around July 4th!
We actually made ice cream already and it was fairly easy and the instructions were straightforward. The ice cream (from the Nostalgia mix) tastes great and set up perfectly.
I noticed on some reviews people had issues with the ice cream maker cracking, so I was careful to let it sit on a towel afterward and warm up to room temp on its own. I am assuming cracking would happen if you washed it out with warm water after using it!
The only con from what I can see is that my motor did not shut off automatically, I had to turn it off after I timed it for 30 minutes. And it's pretty loud. But that's OK! I would buy it again.
