We all know car seats can be an expensive thing to buy, especially if you have more than one parent needing to keep one in the car! We are excited to share that Walmart is having a Car Seat Trade in Event coming up!
Check out all the details below! From what it looks like, you can get a $30 FREE Walmart Gift card just for trading in your used/outgrown or expired car seat!
Restrictions apply so see your store for details. Walmart is recycling the seats with TerraCycle, to avoid these large items being thrown into landfills.
As we all know, it's important to discard old car seats, to avoid an unsuspecting person from re-using an old seat! Never leave them on the curb! Thrift stores will also trash them.
You can head to the website here, but for a quick rundown of the rules, here is the general idea!
- Bring in your old car seat (it can be expired or just outgrown)
- Take the car seat to Customer Service
- Receive your Gift card!
More Details:
This is limited to participating Walmart stores only and is going from September 16-30th, 2019. So we recommend you call ahead to your Walmart (maybe the day before) and make sure they are participating!
Car seats are hard to lug around and I wouldn't want to bring it inside the store unnecessarily!
