This post has been sponsored by Megan Media and Fifty50, however, the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with diabetes, this post is for you! I was able to review products from Fifty50 Foods, maker of Low Glycemic foods. #Fifty50Foods4Diabetes has tasty options available to help keep your blood glucose level under control. There are actually 23 Low Glycemic products available right now on the Fifty50 Foods website! You can find peanut butters, fruit spreads, whole-grain oatmeal, maple syrup, several varieties of chocolate bars, chocolate and vanilla crème filled wafers, and a selection of cookies and hard candies. One of the best parts about the Fifty50 Foods brand is that they donate 50% of their profits to diabetes research, and promise to keep it up until a cure is reached! Since 1991 they have contributed over $13.6 million. I felt like this was pretty awesome to learn about. It's great when a brand can put customers first.
As you, my readers, know it's very important to me to buy from a company that gives back. Fifty50 Foods does just that. The company was started in 1990 by three people (including one with diabetes) in an effort to make quality Low Glycemic foods. My grandmother and my father-in-law both have diabetes. When we are with them for family events or holidays, it's always important for us to have foods available that will fit their dietary needs. I can only imagine sitting down to a holiday dinner and having to carefully choose foods that will not cause my glucose levels to go up! This is what folks with diabetes deal with. It's great to have the food options (and ingredients) available from Fifty50 Foods!
Also, with having so much Halloween and Christmas candy around, it's nice to have the Fifty50 Foods chocolate bars available, too. The Dark Chocolate and Crunch bar are great options. For the cookie fans, choose between the Chocolate Chip and Hearty Oatmeal Cookies. There are always a few of us at family gatherings with a sweet tooth, so these are great to have around! The Fifty50 Foods website includes information on following a Low Glycemic Diet, and also describes sample meals you can make using Fifty50 Foods products. No need to follow the old fashioned diabetic diets anymore! You can have delicious meals like lasagna, and enjoy breakfast breads, crackers, and desserts. For my own family, we are trying to eat healthier in general. Fifty50 Foods’ Low Glycemic Guide is very helpful because it lets you see at a glance which foods are generally lower in sugar than others. Click here to head over to the website and check out the guide. I hope you get a chance to try some of the #Fifty50Foods4Diabetes as you enjoy the upcoming holidays, and start your holiday menu planning! Thanks for reading!
It would help me because I am diabetic. Their products would make it easier to eat properly.
These products would help me because I am hypoglycemic,
Fifty50 would help my family because I have tried other no sugar or low sugar syrups specifically and they always seem to impact my blood sugars as if they were just syrup.I would like to try fifty50 and see if potentially it would not be as impactful on my blood sugars. If so,I can put away the agave nectar and enjoy pancakes with my seven children again! How amazing would that be?I feed my family what I eat beside a few things like the syrups and jelly, which they have the regular stuff and I make other choices.I think it concerns my younger children very much that I cannot enjoy these things with them.I think fifty50!could help their anxiety about this.I am excited to try it!Better blood sugars mean a healthier mom who will be around enjoying life with them longer! Thanks!
My Husband has diabetes and these products would enable him to have foods that are better for him. It has been and is still a learning process for us.
This will be a fun party!
I’ve lost family to diabetes, and my wife and I both seek a healthier lifestyle to help prevent us or our daughter from ever going through that. This product line looks amazing. This is the first I’ve heard of it and can’t wait to try it out!
It would keep us from eating a lot of sugary products we don’t need and help us eat better.
