12 Thanksgiving Verses in the Bible
If you are familiar with the Bible, you probably know there is a lot about thankfulness to read about. However, it may be difficult to find exactly the right verse if you’re looking for specific ones that relate to holidays.
Thanksgiving celebrations are often started off with a prayer, Blessing, or everyone joining hands and saying what they are thankful for. You may want to add some verses from the Bible if you’re looking to add to a few moments of reflection, before the big dinner.
These 12 verses are taken from the King James Version (KJV) which is one of the older versions in the English language.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
