A Holiday Makeover with At Home Stores

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. I love the lights, the music, the food, the decorations even the smells. It just makes me happy and I am one of those that could probably celebrate all year round. I have been redoing my home this year, little by little, to incorporate a Farm to Table /Country Chic theme and wasn't for sure if I would get to also transition that into the holidays this year until I partnered with At Home Stores for a Holiday Makeover. This is absolutely one of my favorite stores and I wish they would build one in Edmond, Oklahoma because I would probably be there every single day lol.
I decided to take our newest addition to our family Kori who loves Christmas just as much as I do. You can probably tell by the smile on her face how much she had fun shopping with me. As soon as we walked in we noticed the two beautiful displays. As well as their inflatable display overhead with Santa hanging on for dear life lol.
Let's Start with the tree. I am not one of those that sticks with a specific color them or ornaments for my tree because most of the ornaments I have, each mean something to me with a few pretties incorporated as well. Here is my tree before hand. I am actually thinking about getting a new tree this year but can't decide. We have a few branches that are leaning in the back of the tree, but luckily you can't tell at all but I have seen some really pretty ones that I want.
I decided to pick out a new star to fit our Country Chic theme and a few ornaments that I spotted while in the store. I love it! It's perfect!
I also got a few ornaments to fit my theme as well and here are a few examples I just could not live without!
Moving on to the mantle, one of my favorite focal points. Last year I just had some greenery and candles because I hadn't really found what I wanted. This is what our mantle looked like before Christmas.
Kori and I found these beautiful reindeer and just could not pass them up. We also found a tree that matched. I already had the greenery and its look great with my homemade Christmas stockings.
I also found a beautiful sleigh and filled it with 2 burgundy Christmas balls we found in store to place on our side table.
I took down my cross sign and put up this stable sign we found. Everyone who has come to my house so far has asked me where I got it. It seems to grab everyones attention. It's one of my favorite pieces.
We also found a couple of throw pillows we loved, actually we found A LOT of throw pillows we loved but finally settled on these 3 for the couch. I also bought 2 rugs not pictures that are adorable.
Kori spotted this JOY sign and I we knew we had the perfect spot. We were going to hang it right over our mantle. It actually lights up, but we didn't like the lights so we took them off and it looks gorgeous!
Our porch was looking pretty dull and we found a cute lamp post that lights up. We paired with a live Christmas wreath and few things we already had and it looks great.
There were so many things we wanted to get but of course we were on a budget so you seriously need to head to at home to see everything they have to offer. If you don't leave feeling excited about Christmas then I am sending Benjamin to your house for the week and let him work his magic! (Warning he's full of mischief!)
