Savings during Cold and Flu Season!
If you’re looking to save on prescription expenses this time of year, I am excited to spread the word on SingleCare.
It’s important to be prepared for prescription costs this time of year. With cold and flu season here– officially!– we don’t worry about expenses but do take extra steps to prepare ourselves for prescription costs.
Since we use several prescriptions in our family, an additional cold or bout of the flu can add to prescription costs. My husband has Anklylosing Spondylitis which is a chronic disease that affects many people. I am always looking for ways to save money on our prescriptions.
What is SingleCare?
SingleCare is a prescription savings card. It’s free to sign up and you can use it on out of pocket prescription costs.
It’s easy to use. I just took my SingleCare card to Walmart and saved on my sons prescriptions. They pharmacist just took my SingleCare number and put it in the computer.
SingleCare is Legitimate!
I am happy to be able to say, you don’t need to worry if SingleCare is legitimate or not. I am always cautious about sharing information about businesses and deals, since we all have to be so careful now about scams. However, I can honestly say I have used SingleCare myself so it is NOT a scam.
What Can You Use the SingleCare Rx Card For?
You can use the SingleCare card even for unexpected prescriptions like Tamiflu, and get access to discounted or even free flu shots.
You can use the SingleCare Rx card to save on prescription costs you are paying out of pocket for your prescription.
Even if you have insurance, you can still use SingleCare and compare your insurance with the SingleCare price, then go with whatever is cheaper.
Avoiding the flu or at least treating it early is a must for us!
Why You Should Get the SingleCare Rx Card:
If you’re trying to keep the kids healthy through this fall semester of school, keeping those regular prescriptions like allergy medicines caught up is important. Paying less out of pocket for prescription costs is a huge help!
Who can benefit from the SingleCareRx Card?
- Couples or families with many prescriptions, some of which may not be covered under their insurance or have high co-pays.
- Young adults working and on a budget with prescription costs.
- Younger families needing flu vaccines, or Tamiflu unexpectedly.
- And more!
We have a healthy family but know everyone has their thing, whether you need an allergy medicine, or a medication for any other minor illness that comes up.
The Rx card is easy to use and I always want to save even a few dollars, so it’s worth my time.
How Does the Rx Card Work?
Just fill your prescription using your digital Rx card at your regular pharmacy.
The Rx card is accepted nationwide at over 35,000 SingleCare partner pharmacies, including Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Kroger’s, and more.
Just bring your Rx card to the pharmacy or show it on your phone and ask the pharmacist to process your prescription using the BIN and PCN number found on your card. It’s that easy! So hopefully you can save quite a bit on the out of pocket price of your prescription.
Of course you can also use the SingleCare App to save time and get your savings. Since we all have our phones with us now, it’s a must for me to add the app if I am utilizing the card.
Even better, you can shop around for the best price on the website, which is a valuable tool since you can do this from the comfort of your own home- on your own time. This feature is also available in the app!
I hope this SingleCare post has been helpful. If you’re looking for a prescription savings program card, definitely head over to their site for more information and to sign up.
