Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes Recipe – Yum!

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

Great side dish for chicken, steaks, fish or even burgers!

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 1 hour

Total Time 1 hour 10 minutes

Ingredients

• 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups of milk
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1 tsp salt
• 3 tbsp of butter
• 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
• 1 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese, seperate 1/2 cup to sprinkle on top

Instructions

1. In a small pan, melt butter and blend flour and let sit for a minute.
2. Wisk in your milk
3. Add salt & pepper
4. Cook on low until smooth but boiling, using your wisk to stir occasionally.
5. Reduce heat and wisk in cheese.
6. In a lightly greased casserole dish add a layer of sliced potatoes. (about 1/2 of your potatoes)
7. Pour 1/2 of your cheese sauce over potatoes.
8. Repeat steps 6 & 7.
9. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over top.
10. Bake at 350 uncovered for 1 hour
