This Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken is so good and only 7 ingredients.

Homemade Lemon Garlic Chicken

I have really been trying to cook with more fresh ingredients lately. And I have been cooking with more natural and organic ingredients for my family.

I love it because I know that natural ingredients are better for my family, and my family doesn't really notice a difference in taste– unless they mention my usual recipes taste much better!

This Homemade Lemon Garlic Chicken recipe is one you can make on a busy weekday, and will have you relaxing in the afternoon rather than hurrying into the kitchen to prepare dinner!  Whether you're running errands, picking up kids from school, or just getting home from work, one thing we can all agree on is that sometimes it's nice to have dinner finishing up rather than needing to be started! I absolutely love slow cooker meals for this reason.

This chicken recipe is one that will work all year, which is another bonus.

Why Use Organic Chicken?

While it's not necessary for this recipe to use organic chicken, I love using it whenever possible. Aldi carries Kirkwood Organic Chicken Breasts, if you aren't yet aware.  Aldi is a great place to shop in general for lots of organic and natural products!

Most people think using natural or organic ingredients is expensive but truly it's not. One of the ways I like to save money is shopping at ALDI. The prices are are amazing and I love that they offer both organic and natural products. In this recipe I bought their  ” Never Any! ” chicken breasts by Kirkwood.

In the Slow Cooker:

I used it to make this Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken recipe that I learned from one of the ladies at church. This recipe is so refreshing and doesn't require a lot of ingredients.

I love that one option is to make it ahead as a freezer meal then transfer it to the slow cooker. One of the tips for this recipe is to get these Hands-Free Baggy Rack Clip Storage Bag Holders. They make it so easy to create freezer meals with baggies without leaving a mess. Here are some ideas if you are looking for a good slow cooker as well. Check out the video on Facebook!
