FREE in OKC: Kid’s Make n Take – Tissue Transfer Art!
FREE in OKC event! It's time for another FREE make n take class at Oklahoma Contemporary! Saturday (8-13) from 1-4pm the kiddos can make their very own tissue transfer art!
This Make + Take may look like a watercolor painting, but it involves no paint! Inspired by the layering technique used by exhibiting artist Summer Wheat, young artists will create a beautiful picture with water, paper and a special type of tissue paper. Go ahead and buy a frame because you’ll want to show off this artwork!

Make + Take provides the ideal opportunity for you to enjoy some quality time with your children while helping them develop their creative skills. Stop by the studios every Second Saturday to find new art-making projects inspired by works of art on view at Oklahoma Contemporary. Projects are designed to be accessible and fun for visitors of all ages and all levels of art-making experience.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
