DIY: Give old shoes a fresh look!

A couple weeks ago I showed this DIY tutorial on how to paint your shoes with modge podge and glitter. I wanted to also show you this fun trick!
My little girl picked out these cute purple ballet flats. She loves them. Sadly they didn't hold up very well. After just a couple weeks they were cracking and the color was coming off. She was so sad. So I decided to try to extend their life with my crafting magic!
I mixed together about 1-2 tablespoons of modge podge with about a tablespoon of glitter ( to be honest, I just pour it in and stir!) It took a few coats but the results were amazing.
So don't throw away old shoes…give them a new life!

Is it 1-2 tablespoons of modge podge with the tablespoon of glitter?
Yes, that’s a good place to start. You can add more glitter in the mix depending on how glittery you want it!
I also highly recommend Martha Stewart Glitter. It’s works wonders!
