I am very excited to share with you this cute teacher gift idea that one of our readers Whitnee from Oklahom sent in. Whitnee has 3 kids and said she made these Easy DIY Apple Jars for Back to School teacher gifts. She said she plans on filling them with something sweet. Supplies:

  • Red acrylic paint
  • Green spray paint
  • Mason jar
  • Hot glue gun
  • Wooden peg
  • Green card stock
  • Wood stain
  • Scissors

Instructions:

Paint Lid with green spray paint. Paint Jar with red acrylic paint. Stain wooden knob Let dry. Cut leaves out of card stock and fold in half for dimension. Stick the ends of the leaves up in the bottom of the knob and hot glue them. Hot glue knob to top of lid. Let dry and fill with treats. Subscribe to our blog for subscribers only contests and deals.
