FREE in OKC: Pictures With Santa & Other Holiday Events
Looking for an affordable place to get those annual pictures with Santa? We've complied a list of events you can enjoy with your family this holiday season.
December 17th:
Head to the Devon Energy Center and Santa will let the kiddos sit on his lap, take pictures, write letters to him, hear stories from Mrs. Claus and maybe even meet the live reindeer. 10:00am – 4:00pm. Santa will also be at the Myriad Botanical Gardens from 10-4 also.
Edmond Police Dept. -From 11:00am – 4:00pm FREE pictures with Santa, no appointment necessary.
FREE Carriage Rides with Santa in Downtown Edmond. 11am-4pm. www.downtownedmondok.com
A Territorial Christmas Celebration in Downtown Guthrie (212 W Oklahoma) Join them for a Victorian Walk from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on Dec. 17th. 282-1947, www.guthriesterritorialchristmas.com
December 19th:
FREE “Polar Express” at the Mustang Town Center (1201 N Mustang Rd, Mustang) invites children and families to bring pillows and blankets to relax on while enjoying the movie. Movie starts at 7:00pm, activites start at 6:00pm. For more info call 405- 376-3411
Thru Dec. 24th:
FREE Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops (200 Bass Pro Drive) The daily event continues through Dec. 24th. FREE photos with Santa weekdays from 3-8pm, Saturday from 10am-8pm, & Sunday from noon-5pm.
NOTE: you must obtain a Bass Pass for your photo. They may be picked up at the Train Depot in each store. Get there early – they run out pretty fast. 🙂
Thru Dec. 31st:
FREE Christmas in the Park at Chisholm Trail Park (500 W Vandament, Yukon) will be celebrated with a festive light display & Kris Kringle Karnival. Refreshments, live music, pictures with Santa and train rides. Christmas in the Park continues through Dec 31. Sunset-8pm. 350-8937, www.cityofyukonok.gov
