I was able to review the new Barbie Color Magic Mermaid Doll. It's available in the blonde hair Barbie doll and the brunette hair Teresa doll, I picked the brunette! I gave this to my youngest daughter for her 3rd birthday and she LOVED it! She has been seeing the commercials for it on TV and been asking for it. There's something about a mermaid that little girls just love!
My daughters ( ages 3 & 5) loved the color changing hair and tail. I brought a cup of cold water in so that they could watch it change colors. They also really liked the tail. It's able to easily bend to make it seem like she swimming. We've had other mermaid dolls and none of their tails bend.
As a Mom I love that this doll didn't require any batteries…only imagination! It made bath time so much fun! I also liked that even after the doll's bath time fun, her hair was still pretty. Other dolls have gone into the bath and come up with their hair in a huge mess.
