Veteran’s Day Freebies and Discounts 2021!

Here’s our list of Veteran’s Day freebies and discounts. The offers are valid at participating stores so call ahead and make sure your location will be honoring the offer. 

You’ll need to show proof of service such as your military ID, DD-214 or veteran’s organization card, Some restaurants only need to see in your uniform. Be sure call ahead and make sure you have the right ID for the restaurant you’re planning to visit.

Andy’s Frozen Custard – Score a regular sized 1-topping sundae (excludes pumpkin and pecan) on Nov. 11th. 

Applebee’s: Offering a free meal from a limited menu to active duty and other veterans on Nov. 11, at participating locations. Proof of service required; dine in only.

BJ’s Restaurant: has a free meal for veterans on Veterans Day.  Get a complimentary entree priced up to $14.95 plus a Dr. Pepper. Must present Military ID or other proof of service.   Valid for dine in on November 11 only. Not valid for delivery or takeout orders.  See the BJ’s Veterans Day page for more details. 

Black Angus: OnNovember 11 veterans will get the All-American Steak Plate for just $11.99 (regularly priced around $23.99) This deal is available for restaurant dining and takeaway orders.

Bob Evans: Offering a free meal from a select menu to active duty and other veterans on Nov. 11. Proof of service required; dine in only. Find the nearest location here.

Bonefish Grill: Veterans and active duty military get a 10% discount on their check all day, every day. 

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.: 20% off for veterans and active duty military for food and retail purchases on Veterans Day.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Complimentary order of Boneless Wings with a side of fries for active and retired armed services members on Veterans Day.  The offer is good for dine-in and takeout orders with proof of service.

California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active military get a complimentary meal from a select menu. Dine-in and walk-in takeout only.

Casey’s: is offering FREE coffee to service members both past and present on Veterans Day.

Chili’s: Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu on November 11 Available for in-restaurant only.

Cracker Barrel: Veterans get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake when dining at any location on November 11.

Denny’s: Veterans and military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on November 11 from 5 a.m. to noon. Dine-in only.

Dicky’s BBQ Pit: Veterans and active duty military can get a free Classic Sandwich on Veterans Day. 

Dunkin Donuts Offer

Dunkin’ Donuts: will thank all who served who serve by offering a free donut to Veterans and active duty military. Valid in-store only. 

Freddy’s – Veterans & Military personnel drop by November 11th and get a FREE combo meal card that you can use on your next visit – no purchase necessary! 

Golden Corral: Golden Corral is handing out a free meal and beverage card between November 1 and 30 while supplies last. Military personnel can then redeem their card once for lunch or dinner Monday through Thursday from November 1 to May 31.

Hooters: on Thursday, November 11, all military personnel will be able to choose a free entree from a menu of five items with the purchase of a beverage.

IHOP: Free Red, White and Blue pancake combo for veterans.

IKEA: Enjoy a free meal at Ikea 11/11. Military ID Required.

Joes’s Crab Shack: Veterans receive 20% off at participating locations on November 11. Dine-in only.

Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut & Coffee

Krispy Kreme: Free doughnut and coffee on 11-11.

Little Caesars: Offering a free Hot-N-Ready Lunch Combo to active duty and other veterans, on Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. . The combo features four slices of their Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, with a 20-ounce Pepsi product. Present proof of service such as ID card, DD-214, or an ID card with veteran designation.

Logan’s Roadhouse: All active duty and retired U.S. military personnel can enjoy a free meal off of the American Roadhouse Menu in honor of Veterans Day from 3 – 6 pm on November 11.

Krispy Kreme – FREE doughnut of choice and a free coffee November 11th. Not valid for delivery or online ordering. Not valid at Time Square locations. 

Macaroni Grill: One free “Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti” with military ID on November 11th.

Mimi’s Cafe: 20% off for Veterans and their families on November 11th.

Olive Garden: Veterans and current members of the military who dine in get a free entrée from a special menu on November 11th. 

On the Border: Active and retired military get a free Pick 2 Combo on 11-11. Dine-in only.

Outback Steakhouse: Active duty military and veterans can get a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coke at Outback on November 11.  Also, veterans and active duty military get a 10% discount on their check all day, every day.

Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers: active duty and retired military members can enjoy a free meal at any of its more than 750 participating U.S. travel centers The offer will be available November 11, and veterans authenticated with in the myRewards Plus app can save their offer for a $10 free meal credit. 

Red Lobster: One free appetizer or dessert. Active-duty military and veterans get a free sandwich with fries or tots on 11-11. Available for dine-in or call-in to-go orders.

Red Robin: Free Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries offer, but you’ll need to sign up for the Red Robin Royalty account by November 5.  The offer will be uploaded to your account, and will be valid from November 12 – 30, for dine-in or to-go. Click here for more info.

Ricky’s Cafe (Moore, OK): FREE Cheese Enchilada entree for veterans on Nov. 11th. 

Sheetz: On November 11, Sheetz offers veterans and active-duty military personnel a free half turkey or ham sub and a regular size fountain drink. Sheetz will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active-duty military.

Shoney’s: Offering a free, all-you-can-eat, breakfast bar on Nov. 11 from opening until 11 a.m. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and fresh fruit are just a few of the offerings for active duty and other veterans. The free breakfast bar is dine-in only, with no purchase required, but coffee and beverages cost extra. For locations click here.

Starbucks: One free coffee, also eligible to military spouses.

Torchy’s Tacos: all locations will be offering thanks by providing 50% OFF to all soliders, veterans, former marines, or individuals in uniform.

Wendy’s: Free coffee for veterans, active duty and family members.

Wienerschnitzel: Free small breakfast combo on Veterans Day.


Academy Sports + Outdoors: Veterans, active-duty and reserve service members and their immediate family members get 10% off their entire purchase both in-store and online from October 24 through November 15.

Army & Air Force Exchange Service: On November 11, MILITARY STAR cardholders will receive various deals, including double the everyday gas savings with 10 cents off per gallon of fuel purchased at Exchange fuel locations, 15% off all purchases at participating Exchange restaurants and $10 off Exchange mall concession or kiosk purchases of $25 or more with coupon (see main store customer service for the coupon). Plus, Exchange stores will be handing out free challenge coins to veterans on November 11.

Dollar General

Dollar General: Veterans, active-duty military and their families get a 20% discount on in-store and online purchases on November 11 through 14.

Home Depot: Home Depot offers a 10% discount to all veterans on November 11. Home Depot offers the 10% discount year round to active duty and retirees.

Office Depot and OfficeMax: Veterans, active-duty military personnel, retirees, Reservists and their dependents get 25% off qualifying regular and sale-priced purchase November 11 through 13. This offer is valid in-store only.

Publix: Veterans, active military personnel and their families save 10% on groceries on November 11.

Sleep Number: Military and veteran families receive 20% off all smart beds, all adjustable bases and most bedding with promo code November 2 to November 22.

Staples: Active-duty military personnel, reservists, retired or disabled veterans and their immediate families get a 25% discount November 7 through 13.

target circle of loyalty rewards program

Target:  Target is offering a 10% military discount from October 31through November 13 to all U.S. active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. The 10% discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store.. Brakes To Go: Veterans and active-duty service members get 10% off their brake repair service for the entire month of November with a valid military/veterans ID or VA benefits card.

Great Clips: Thursday, November 11 – veterans and active military members can visit a U.S. Great Clips salon and receive either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card. In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons can pay it forward. They will receive a free haircut card they can give to an active service member or veteran as a way of saying thank you. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from November 12 through December 10, 2021.

Meineke: Veterans and active-duty military get either a Free Basic Oil Change or 50% off Synthetic Oil Change on November 11at participating centers.

Sport Clips: Many locations will offer free haircuts to to active duty and other veterans on Nov. 11, with proof of service. Find a participating location here.
