For the coldest days of winter, a hearty bean soup just hits the spot. Last week I made this Hurst’s 15 Bean Soup Recipe for Instant Pot, and it was a hit!
This warm Slow Cooker Corn Chowder Recipe is perfect for fall or cold winter days. I love that you can add or take away ingredients to make it your own.
I love knowing I’m coming home to a warm bowl of soup after a long day, especially when it’s getting chilly outside. Oklahoma weather is unpredictable at best. For example on a typical day it might go a little like this: wake up to a frosty cold morning with a possible warming and windy afternoon, then any where from twenty to thirty degree drop in temp as soon as the sun goes down. It’s hard to plan what to wear, let alone what to eat. That’s why I make this Crock-Pot Corn Chowder at least once a month.
Progresso soup is on sale at Homeland and Country Mart this week PLUS we have a new coupon!
Before this Turkey Sausage Kale Soup, if I wanted to eat kale, I was off to Olive Garden for their yummy soup. Kale is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. It seems Kale really is a super food, and it’s here to stay. As much as I want to, it’s just not in me to eat something just because it’s beneficial for me, no matter how super. Now, I’m convinced I can cook it at home!
