NOTE: Walgreens cashiers are notorious for not knowing their coupon policy and may refuse to adjust the $2.00 coupon down to $1.01 or $1.99 (depending on which product you buy). Have a copy of their coupon policy with you or better yet, bring it up on your phone so they can see it from their own website! Their policy clearly states that when a coupon value is more than the product they can reduce the coupon down to the price of the item sold.

Thanks Wild For Wags!
I was at the Walgreens at 2nd/Bryant on Sunday. The Pediacare Allergy was $7.99. I tried to use the in ad $5 off Pediacare and a $2/1 any Pediacare. I had received it at Walgreens awhile back and it was printed like a RR (maybe a catalina) for use at Walgreens but says manufacturer coupon. We could not get the computer to accept it. There were two very nice clerks and they tried to run it several different ways but could not get it to work. Any thoughts?
It could have been one of two things: If the Pediacare was the only thing you bought then sometimes the register goes wacky when you have more coupons than you have items even though it’s legit (1 store and 1 mfg.). If it happens again and you’ve only got 1 item but 2 coupons, thow in a very cheap pencil or some such item and I bet it goes through with no problems. The other thing is maybe the register only recognizes the catalina coupon as a store coupon because you can only use it at Walgreens. Lots of Walgreen’s store coupons will say manufacturer’s coupon but will also say somewhere on the coupon redeem only at Walgreens. Walgreen’s considers them store coupons. You can’t use 2 store coupons on 1 item. I’m pretty sure that’s the reason you couldn’t use both.
