During the event they offer activities such as Spooky Walk, Yoga Tails, Spooktacular Story Time, Halloween Scavenger Hunt, Costume Parade, Pumpkin Patch, Boo Bingo and a Trick or Treat Trail where families can trick or treat. The whole lodge is decorated for Halloween and each floor has something different. While we were there, they had a spooky dance party for the kids every night on the main floor.
If you have never been to Great Wolf Lodge, it’s kind of like a cruise ship on land that promotes indoor play. They have an 80,000 sq. ft. water park that offers water activities for both adults and small children. They also offer ala cart dining to full buffet. I want to mention that we had a chance to try the buffet while we visited and the food was amazing!
If you are wondering what age Great Wolf Lodge is perfect for, they appeal to ages 2-14 but all ages seem to enjoy it. We took our 18 year old son and he had a blast! Let’s not forget they also have the Elements Spa for adults too!
On the first floor of Great Wolf Lodge is what they call “Main Street”. This is where the arcade is, as well as access to the water park. They have several shops and places to grab snacks here. While you are on Main Street, be sure and look for the large wolf paws you can buy to wear as house shoes or for part of your wolf costume. I bought myself a pair. They also have a wolf tail in the gift shop to go along with the free wolf ears they give you when you check in.
They have many different room accommodations as well. The Kit Cabin sleeps 7, the Grizzly suite is 2 bed, 2 bath as well as your normal family suite. Great Wolf Lodge is also perfect for birthday parties, weddings and conferences as they have all the amenities to accommodate.
