I was recently invited to Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana by Karisma and was given the opportunity to bring my family. First off let me say that I thought to myself wow this would be great for all of my readers with families. I didn't end up taking my husband or 17 year old son, because I didn't think it would be a good fit for them. Listen up folks, I WAS WRONG! Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana did an amazing job separating the fun of Nickelodeon and the luxury of a resort. This place was amazing. I totally could have had a romantic getaway with my husband and even my 17 year old would have had a blast.

I was provided a Pad Suite which includes a 1 king or 2 double beds, a pull-out sofa bed, dining room, TV, play area, marble oversized bathroom with double sinks and freestanding tub, plus a spacious balcony with sitting area.

I loved the bathroom because it had a huge tub with a glass window where you could sit in a hot bath and push a button and the shade rolled up and you could watch TV while you soaked your cares away.

They have a ton of different accommodation options to choose from like the The Pineapple aka Spongebob's house. Inspired by the unique home of SpongeBob SquarePants, this sumptuous villa is the resort’s signature dwelling. The 2-bedroom/3-bath Pineapple features all of the modern amenities and luxurious accommodations found in the Super Villas, but with a unique twist: all who enter are instantly immersed in SpongeBob’s world. There is only one so you want to call and book ahead.

When you walk in the door the décor is Bikini Bottom-inspired, including the indoor and outdoor living and dining areas, a private master suite with a king size bed, smart TV and closets. Your oversized marble bathroom is complete with double sinks, an indoor shower, as well as an inviting Aguas del Amor outdoor shower and freestanding tub.The second bedroom is on the upper level of the villa’s loft-style living room and is complete with two single beds, TV and private bathroom.

The living room features a pull-out sofa bed, dining room, TV, play area, storage space, a private bathroom and access to the Suite’s sublime private gardens and patio where the Pineapple’s signature infinity pool, sun-bathing beds, dining and living area can be found. The first thing that caught my eye in the master bedroom was the jellyfish inspired hanging lamps. You will also have a private butler at your disposal.

Let's Play Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana Style:

In the main part of the resort you will find a small spray park with mini lounge chairs for kids. This is a great cool off spot if you are to tired from your day at the beach or the Aqua Nick.

The Aqua Nick is separated from the park by a tunnel that you take. With water slides, splash pads, spray grounds and a lazy river, Aqua Nick is the place to hang out and get wild. The lazy river was my favorite. A tube is provided so prepare to float as you are taken around the Aqua Nick under waterfalls and more. Hit the mark with a water cannon, join a Mass Sliming, or meet the Nick team poolside for a Slime Time photo opportunity.

The Beach is amazing here and you can access it right from the back of the resort just passed the pool. Here you can rent a cabana for the entire day or just spend some time with the family on the beach making sand castles. The beach is located near the pool with a huge swim up bar and Zest is located by the pool for food as well.

Speaking of food, Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana has 6 restaurants on property each with a different theme as well as a few snack bars and swim up bars. You will need to make a reservation at some of them as they fill up quickly. You can even take part in a Character Breakfast at Zest.

My favorite was the BRGRS.PH. Served up Food Truck style. Try the Machete Burger, built for a whole family so big they have to cut it with a machete,or my favorite the BBQ Street Tacos. the atmosphere is casual and you don't need a reservation.

Since I didn't get to take my family this time, I plan on bringing them back for another stay. One last thing……. the Fairly Odd Parent's and I hope you will bring your family to enjoy this amazing resort as well.
