Ok everyone the secrets are out! I have been in Florida filming a video for Tropicana OJ about Carbon Foot-printing. We flew in yesterday and spent all day today touring the plant and the orange grove. There is nothing like eating an orange off the tree or fresh OJ right off the line. Daniel is napping as he had a very long day lol, I think I wore him out! I believe the video will be done in 2 weeks and I will have a full blog post on this trip including the video etc.

Tomorrow we are going to Busch Gardens for some fund after our hard work. Tropicana will be giving me $500 which I will be donating to charity. I am having a hard time picking between the Oklahoma Food Bank and a Children's Mission called “Rivers of Mercy”. Maybe you guys can help by voting here who I should give the money to?

Ok 2nd News!!!!!

 

I will be featured on the Today Show Tuesday at 8:00am for a segment called “Digital Mommies”. I am so excited!!! I was rushing around like a mad woman trying to get the house clean. Boy these TV people work fast! The kids were excited because they got to be on camera as well. Shannon also came over and did some shots with me and I am so glad she was there because I was so nervous.

I believe there will be other moms featured as well but they haven't given full details yet.

I am very excited about all of the opportunities God has brought our way, he has truly blessed us this year. I also want to thank all my readers and message board readers. Without you ConsumerQueen.Com would not be possible.

  17. Well I will be going into more details on my next post but basically its :
    A carbon footprint is defined as:

    The total amount of greenhouse gases produced to directly and indirectly support human activities, usually expressed in equivalent tons of carbon dioxide (CO2).

    In other words: When you drive a car, the engine burns fuel which creates a certain amount of CO2, depending on its fuel consumption and the driving distance. (CO2 is the chemical symbol for carbon dioxide). When you heat your house with oil, gas or coal, then you also generate CO2. Even if you heat your house with electricity, the generation of the electrical power may also have emitted a certain amount of CO2. When you buy food and goods, the production of the food and goods also emitted some quantities of CO2.
