Dishes Dry Faster with Samsung StormWash 7050 Dishwasher

Some of you may remember back on the first week of October I received a wonderful new Samsung StormWash 7050 Dishwasher from Best Buy! It was such a great surprise. I actually came home and the Best Buy Geek Squad was installing it! Fast forward a few weeks later and I have some more info to share with you all, so you can see if this dishwasher is for you.  Check out a few of my favorite features!

We have had our Samsung StormWash 7050 for a few weeks now and have used it regularly. I have to say my favorite features are the AutoRelease, and the top shelf that can be used for drying utensils without them falling through!  I have also been putting my silverware on top, which leaves so much more room on the bottom rack for dishes.

As with all of you, some of my nice utensils have fallen through to the bottom of the dishwasher and have been sadly messed up before.  The utensil rack is included on my model, which is the DW80K7050 model.  If you're at Best Buy, be sure to ask to see the 3rd Rack- Dedicated space for cutlery and utensils.  I read that it adds 30% more usable space to your dishwasher.  Since I don't have the silverware basket in there right now, I can definitely tell a difference in its dish capacity.

I hadn't seen the AutoRelease prior to this, but this is an awesome concept. Basically the door pops open on its own when the cycle is finished, allowing some of that hot air out.  This allows for more efficient drying…less of our energy used on that heater inside the dishwasher.  Plus the dishes do cool down a little faster, which is nice if you're in a hurry to fill it right back up again.  Of course, as a food blogger I do have instances where that is the case.  If you're thinking of a new dishwasher soon, I would recommend this particular one for these two features!

Another thing we love is the StormWash™ . This is a  heavy-duty wash cycle that gets the messiest pots and pans thoroughly clean without pre-washing.   When I'm in a hurry to create a recipe, take pictures and get it on the website, sometimes it's not even possible to get everything pre-washed.

How many times have you ended up just throwing dishes in the dishwasher hoping they will get clean, only to find them half-way washed at the end of the cycle? So frustrating.  For us, we have noticed a huge difference in the cleaning ability of the Samsung dishwasher.

Lastly, I have to say Best Buy is a favorite of ours to shop at because we are big fans of their warranty program and the price match guarantee.  If I found this exact dishwasher for a lower price at another retailer, they would be able to match it within 30 days and refund me the difference. All that is needed is the purchase receipt!

From my point of view, this gives me piece of mind when purchasing big ticket items that we will be getting a great deal.  No stressing out about seeing my appliance marked way down later on, and thinking I could have gotten a better deal!
