Grilled Chicken with 7UP® Marinade
During the summer, we cook out a lot! Basically whenever the wind and weather permit in Oklahoma. Sometimes those weeknights can be hectic, so having chicken, steak or brats on the grill is an easy dinner solution.
I was trying to come up with a simple marinade that didn’t involve too much measuring and ingredients, but would still taste great and work for a quick dinner on the grill and veggies. This 7UP Marinade is super easy and we almost always have the ingredients on hand! Find your 7UP products, steak, and Johnsonville Brats all at Walmart.
These Johnsonville Brats are so good! If you are not up to grilling a full chicken or steak meal, consider these as a quick alternative. You can still use the 7UP Marinade to get a sweet and crispy glaze if you prefer.
The steak and Johnsonville Brats can be found in the refrigerated section. Look for the 12-pk/12 oz cans of 7UP on the lower racks of the soda and drink aisle of your local Walmart. You can’t miss it!
This Marinade comes together with just 7UP, your favorite teriyaki sauce, and a couple other ingredients. If you don’t have teriyaki in the pantry, you can always substitute soy sauce. Just add all the ingredients and your meat into a large sealable bag or dish, and let those flavors mix! Overnight is preferred but you can also throw this together before you head out the door in the morning, and it will be ready to go at dinner time.
The 7UP Marinade gives a great glaze on these steaks!
