For everyone that knows me knows I love to eat.  But the only problem with that is the cooking part.  I mean you can only go out to eat so many times.  It seems we tend to fall in a rut when it comes to dinner.  Or even worse, the dreaded “oh crap we don't have anything to eat”.

What if I told you that you need not worry about spending all day cooking dinner?  What would you think if I told you that you could spend less of your day at the grocery store?  On top of all that, what if I told you you that you could do all this and feed your family a healthy meal?  You'd think my wife had finally hit me one too many times in the head right?  Well let me let you in on a little secret…Schwans.

Schwans offers a wide variety of foods.  They not only have full meals but they also offer side dishes. Schwans is great for back to school meals. You know those busy nights when Suzy has Ballet and Josh has Karate? Why not do take out at home?

  27. I love your site you have really helped me learn how to shop correctly and save money in these tough times. I love Schwans food, it is so easy to prepare and their selection is wonderful. My favorite dish lately is their Blackened Chicken Alfredo which is always included in my shipment. Follow that spicy food up with their Vanilla Ice Cream for desert and it is heavenly.

  29. This isn't considered a “meal” but if I could choose just one item from Schwan's, it would be the USDA Choice Filet Mignon (for my Mom). We love the Diced Beef Tips and Gravy; and, I'd love to try the Philly Beef Steak (a family favorite). so many things we like (such as the Chicken Teriyaki and Sweet & Sour Chicken), it's hard to narrow down to just one favorite dish (one that won't disqualify me)!

  110. i can honestly say i have not tried Schwans products excet the free Hot dogs one time but would love to try them the Lasagna with Meat looks good so do the Desserts

  135. This is easy, we order from Schwans all the time, Bill is the best delivery guy! We LOVE their Pizzas, normally order the Supreme. I like there Chicken Enchiladas too, I have not ordered those in awhile, I will have to get that next week when Bill comes back.

  244. My favorites have always been the Chicken Enchiladas, Beef Goulash (yum-o), pasta vegetable medley, and my kids and I love the chipped beef gravy on toast! Schwans is great for my daycare as well. Being a single mom not by my choice, I rely a lot on their meals because of the craziness of our schedule, me working full-time, taking care of my 3 kids and taking 15 credits at my local community college. Schwans is a blessing!

  301. We would love pasta shells stuffed with cheese. Seriously you put stuffed shells in front of me and my boys you better back off. Touching the plate or taking someones shell can set yourself up for some serious bodily harm. This is why we rarely have them!
