No Bake Cookies
No bake cookies are one of my favs! Perfect for when you want a sweet treat, but you don't want to heat up the house with the oven. My mom made these when I was little and now I'm making them for mine….so yummy!
I suggest after they are cooled putting them in an airtight container and storing them in the fridge, if they last that long! They are the best when they are cool.
No Bake Cookies

- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Stick Butter
- 2 Cups Quick Oats
- 5 Tbsp Cocoa
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
Instructions
- In saucepan, mix sugar, milk and butter. Bring mixture to a boil. While stirring constantly, let boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add oats, cocoa, vanilla and peanut butter. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool.
*I made mine with gluten-free quick oats!
If I leave the peanut butter out will that effect the cookie or can I substitute for something else?? My daughter is allergic to it.
Peanut butter is a key ingredient in this recipe. You could substitute it for another nut or soy butter but I’m not sure what else would work.
