No bake cookies are one of my favs! Perfect for when you want a sweet treat, but you don’t want to heat up the house with the oven. My mom made these when I was little and now I’m making them for mine….so yummy!
I suggest after they are cooled putting them in an airtight container and storing them in the fridge, if they last that long! They are the best when they are cool.
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Stick Butter
- 2 Cups Quick Oats
- 5 Tbsp Cocoa
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- In saucepan, mix sugar, milk and butter. Bring mixture to a boil. While stirring constantly, let boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add oats, cocoa, vanilla and peanut butter. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool.
*I made mine with gluten-free quick oats!
